I don’t doubt it as Washington is terrified of the Trump presidency, and this is one of the only possible scenarios that I can come up with that would lead to their level of fear.

Expelled from society? You're too kind. Hunt them - as the young girl retold her experience as "hunted prey" and eliminate them from all societies permanently. There should exist NO safe space on this planet for such monstrosities to exist with impunity.

but this could also be a sick lady making it up, or a vulnerable one who had fake memories implanted in her by her therapist.
I suspect the latter
Many of her accusations have been verified. Not all, but enough to have people arrested. Until all the guilty are caught, we will never know to what extent she is telling the truth on.
I have heard such stories before, I heard enough of them from the very investigators involved in these cases that I believe what she has said.
Once you have seen the belly of the beast, nothing surprises not shocks you.
