A man who was born a woman has carried and given birth to his own daughter, after his wife was unable to fall pregnant.
Chris Rehs-Dupin, 33, and his wife Amy from Columbus, Ohio knew when they met and fell in love in their twenties, that they wanted a family.
As Chris - who was born Christina - was a pre-op transgender male at the time, they initially hoped that Amy could be the biological mother.
But when five attempts of intrauterine insemination - fertility treatment that involves placing sperm inside a uterus to facilitate fertilisation – failed, Chris, who still had his female reproductive organs, volunteered to carry their baby instead.

If you have functioning female reproductive organs, you’re a female.
Don’t let this “transgender” push win the debate. Self-mutilation (even if well done) does not change one’s gender. It’s not a “transgender man” if it menstruates and can carry a baby thru full gestation and every cell has no Y chromosome - it’s a woman. What’s extra demeaning about the push to “normalize” the term is precisely the fact that we can’t then address a person of questioned gender without resorting to the dehumanizing pronoun “it”.

I want to go back to the time when no one ever uttered the words “pre op transgender male”.
What the f*ck is that? A man with a dick or a man who just lopped it off or a woman who grafted on a dick?

Was it taking testosterone during its pregnancy? What are the dangers posed to the baby during gestation?

Tsk. The Daily Mail is not up on the proper form which is, “A man who been assigned female gender at birth”
IOWs, a woman has given birth. Wow, stop the presses. Ocassionally I have the late Charleton Heston screaming in my head; "It's a madhouse, a madhouse!"
And, even if you don't; in my case, uterine cancer took all the lady parts out, you are (I am) still FEMALE! Can't change DNA.
