TY!
Exactly. I have about a 5% success rate with Netflix when I do a search for a movie. If you born anytime before 2000, forget about finding a movie you like.
Perfect description.
I think that there are technical issues as well as copyright issues about streaming. They stream enough and I am loving getting the DVDs again. More focused and intentional viewing. I feel very lucky.
I once rented an old film my mother loved, Miracle of Marchilino Pan e vino. Netflix had it.
Recently bought it. In honor of my mother.
They cut and add all the time. knock off the drama.
I was in the middle of rewatching Quantum Leap when they pulled the series on January 1. Now, I’m hoping I make it through The Blacklist. As it’s an ongoing, I doubt if there’s any danger. And, besides, it won’t be gone in April per their list, and I can definitely finish in that huge amount of time.
I don’t have to watch network TV to know it is all garbage. Fool me once...actually I have watched quite more than I ever need to see to know that nothing of any entertainment value will be put on TV anytime soon.
I watch X-Files occasionally, since I did not watch the original broadcasts. I think I am in Season 3. I hate that they may be removing it.
I recall they did the same with the Stargate TV series. I was through about Season 3 there, too. AP did pick up the series. I was watching Stargate Universe via AP, but after about 9 episodes, AP made the series pay rather than Prime. I figured AP did the same with the original Stargate TV series.
Amazon pulled first season of peter Gunn but not the rest of the seasons for free watching....then a few days later it was back.
Glitch or licensing..who knows..you just move on.
I watch some weird stuff there. I liked the foreign show..Sniffer. they just put season 2 up but you have to pay..so I just wait until its free
Kodi
Goliath is great...I like Bosch too.
The wife and I are binge-watching the Blue Bloods series also. The Wire is interesting if you can handle the graphic language.
I enjoyed blue bloods..
If anyone likes costume dramas they have several bbc series..larkford and candlerise had some of same actors seen in downtownAbbey
.also detective shows like the inspector lewis
Stranger Things on Netflix is ridiculously good. Maybe the best series in production lately.
I just watched Passengers...good sci if movie!
Also, the movies they were offering were worse than 'B.' I figured they were moving away from paying for movies and forcing their clientele to watch netflix original shows.
It takes trash to judge something one has not watched.
I’m sure I’ll get to those...there’s so much on Prime. Hardly ever watch regular tv anymore.
My tv is on as background so I go thru a lot of shows...some I dont really like...the new show patriot was so dark..but I watched all of it.
One word Firestick.
Yep, I use them too.
I’m not paying Hollywood anymore, or anyone in it.
