Disney rewarded for mediocrity again. I went to see Kong at a Sat matinee and had to wait 15 minutes to buy a ticket as people, especially moms with their little girls in tow, scooping up tickets for Beauty.

The boycott is having a strong impact.

It may have made even more if not for the boycott.

“The boycott is having a strong impact.”
Just substitute the word “strong” with the word “no” and you make a valid point

The boycott is having a strong impact.

Yes, you can tell this by the record-setting crowds it's drawn.

Most likely a little Hollywood magic with the numbers. A little vaudeville. But still doing much better than I thought.

sure it is, because far too many parents don’t give a crap about what their kids are exposed to these days-

I drove by the theater in my town, and there were grown people wearing rainbow gowns and such standing in lines.

let’s make a live-action version of Nemo but with trannies. Rated R and we will need wheelbarrows for all of the shekels

“all time record”

Those numbers are not adjusted for inflation, and so are invalid.

Homosexual sex is so sweet and romantic.

There’s one scene where an old guy sticks his penis into the anal canal of a young man while they sing a duet of

“I Think There’s Something There That Wasn’t There Before”

Because women, young girls, and gay men all generally dig huge production musical love stories. And this huge production musical love story is based off a hugely popular Disney animated musical love story that they all have seen and dug.

Because when you are a parent of young kids you can't take them to 90% of the sludge Hollywood spews out. You get really tired of taking them to mediocre/stupid cartoons. When something decent with high production values comes out you head for it like someone finding water in a desert.
