Those slide-me pics in article are great.
For a while I worked for an international rent-a-rig oil company, and out of a 22-man team, only three of us were native born.
That led to some interesting lunch conversations about "In my country . . .", and almost always ended with one of 'em telling us "You people don't know how lucky you are."
I tell that to my grandkids whenever they start to bellyache about something they didn't get.
No doubt.
My comment is a joke Brazilians tell.

I get the feeling that Argentina has a high percentage of Caucasians compared to neighboring countries.
I believe it’s not so much about the benefit to the home country as the willingness to bribe the committee.
Brazil is in deep recession, soon to be depression.
Argentina has few native peoples, few Blacks, and lots of Spanish, Italians and germans.
