Tim Allen opened up briefly about what it means to be a conservative in Hollywood in 2017 during an interview with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel Thursday night, explaining that one must be “real careful” in talking about President Donald Trump or else risk being beaten up. “You’ve gotta be real careful around here. You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes,” the 63-year-old Last Man Standing star told Kimmel when asked about his attendance at Trump’s inauguration in January.
“This is like ’30s Germany. I don’t know what happened,” he added. “If you’re not part of the group, ‘you know what we believe is right,’ I go, ‘Well, I might have a problem with that.'”

In his sit-down with Kimmel Thursday night, Allen also joked about how Americans are willing to embrace ever increasing surveillance as long as we recognize the brands associated with it.
“If the government drove down the street in a gray sedan with a camera on it, you’d be rioting, going to Washington,” he said. “But if it’s white, with emojis and ‘Google’ on it, hey, you’re waving at it! They’re taking pictures of your house!”
I can’t believe that fashionista/raving liberal/married homo Tom Ford is coming back to the USA to live b/c of Trump....and also b/c of some business setbacks.
He actually said (paraphrasing) liberals live in elite, permissive enclaves .... so they find it hard to understand middle class values that reject everything a liberal believes in.
At lase its not total condemnation of conservatives.....perhaps just damning us w/ faint praise.
Ford, Streep, and the rest, fail to mention Pres Trump traveled in their circles....thankfully he didn’t get infected w/ a liberal disease.

Maybe he doesn't have the energy for it, however, you are sick of Hollywierd's mental totalitarianism? Good, ban together with all the other conservative in LA LA land and come up with a major studio in a State like Michigan, ( or OH, PA, WI ) that would welcome you and your cash with open arms. More importantly, you can do good works without all that tension that borders on a hostile work environment.

I love the part when he keeps working out but is still sporting the Santa paunch....then at work he orders everything off the menu for lunch.
And.....at the park w/ Charlie, all the kids line up to tell him what they want for Christmas.
I remember a long ago piece where he went on Letterman, presumably to talk of recent work..maybe a movie he was working on at the time. Once in the chair, letterman grilled him aND poked fun at him for spending time in prison. I flat out hated letterman for certain after that. I love the idea of Allen and conservative Hollywood forming their own studio..that would be cool to see.
And on that marvelous show Inside the Actors Studio James Lipton asked Tim what would he ask God, and Tim said something to the effect in tears why? aka I am volunteering to brighten the spirits of kids with cancer etc, why do they have to suffer. Compare that with Letterman and Dave is a Douche. It might be safe to say between prison and dealing with his addiction demons, Tim is a changed man and his journey continues. Letterman was so out of line for busting him period....
