I mean you have to admit that it has to be the only group where we actually have a holiday to engage in negative stereotypes, fake accents, and public drunkenness. Also fake food. Corned beef and cabbage is not Irish food.

We eat corned beef for St. Patrick's day because the Irish immigrants who first came to the large cities on the East coast couldn't find the Irish bacon they were used to, so they had to make do with the corned beef from the delicatessens.
