After closed door meetings with FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday, top members of the Senate Judiciary Committee looked grim and rattled and refused to divulge the contents of the meeting to reporters.
At around 5 p.m. E.T. on Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) faced reporters but revealed little about their meetings with Comey.
“This briefing was all on sensitive matters,” Feinstein said, “and highly classified and it’s really not anything we can answer any questions about.”
Comey has been at the center of multiple controversies lately, from his decision to make a later-discredited announcement about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s email server in the days before the 2016 election, to whether or not his agency is currently investigating Donald Trump’s campaign for allegedly colluding with the Russian government.
Comey was asked by Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (RI) and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham to state by Wednesday whether his agency is actively investigating the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia.

The mind-raping media constantly uses the “discredited” claim to suggest or imply that someone either lied or was otherwise wrong about something.
But all it really means is they found someone to contradict it.
Just substitute the word “contradicted” in place of “discredited” every time you hear the term used in the media.
Same goes for calling something controversial. Them calling it controversial makes it controversial. So it is a meaningless statement.

A reporter tweeted the presence of Schumer and Warner, both Democrats, at the Comey meeting with Grassley and Feinstein.
Grassley is not a member of any Gang of Eight of which I am aware.
Me I not know how to tell, I never saw her before. Just what was said on Hannity.

I bet Comey knew about this from the beginning and thought Hillary would win. But, Trump won and Comey tried to lie to congress to cover up. Now he is in a trap with many other Zer0 insiders. Now it seems it is down to picking their poison.
Grassley not in the Gang of 8
Gang of 8 has congressional oversight over CIA, NSA, etc.
Sundance says that is why nothing was ever going to come of Benghazi because it nailed both sides of the aisle.
Grassley is always stoic. Boxer on the other hand would have been dancing if they had something rotten on President Trump (I love saying that!)

I would assume that it regards the status of a number of investigations concerning the previous admin’s nefarious dealings, to include names like Holder, Lynch, Clinton, Podesta, Lerner, Brennon, etc, etc...
Wow, the Swampfeeders and snowflakes are super hopeful for a Trump takedown. IMHO,they are in for a shock.
