FULL TITLE: Pro-Trump radio host Michael Savage claims he was assaulted while having dinner with his toy poodle Teddy
A conservative radio host whom President Donald Trump has credited with being instrumental to his upset victory claims he was assaulted outside a California restaurant Tuesday night.
Michael Savage, the 74-year-old host of the nationally syndicated talk radio show Savage Nation, was dining solo at Servino Ristorante in Tiburon, with his toy poodle, Teddy, keeping him company, when another patron allegedly began taunting him by saying, 'weener, weener.'
The heckler was apparently referring to Savage's legal name, Michael Alan Weiner.

It’s california. would seem that assaulting an elderly person is not a felony like it is in most states.

What is their name, where is their picture?
If he’d had my 11 yr. Old dog with him this probably wouldn’t have happened, or the attacker would be in the hospital with serious dog bite injuries. My love puppy is a 92 lb. American Staffordshire Terrier/Black Lab mix. Throw in my other love puppy, a 115 lb. Great Dane, and Savage would have had some great entertainment.
According to the reports, a 6’5” guy pushed Savage and his dog Teddy. Good Samaritan stepped into help and big bully punched him. Savage and bully place each other under citizen’s arrest. Our local paper publishes Savage’s name but not the name of the bully. If it had been someone assaulting or harrassing a liberal, you can bet that person’s name would be published.

Okay. That would explain what appeared to be shielding and protecting. The truth will come out though. This story is too big, at least around here. Tongues will be wagging.

I miss the hell out of Marin. At least what Marin was. Lived in Mill Valley and San Anselmo mainly. Had to leave in about 1972 or 73.
It’s still very pleasant for the most part. At least from a visual point of view. Remember Tennessee Valley Park in Mill Valley? It’s not far from Tamalpais High School up on the hilltop.
Before I started having flat foot problems, I enjoyed going for a walk in that area on softly rolling hills, mixed in with leafy foilage. Lots of Deer , Rabbits and Wildbirds to see if there in the early morning. As you probably recall, the highlight of taking that walk was finishing at the waters edge. A rocky white sanded beach area with picnic tables. The sitting area was walled in, bordered by shallow streams with lizards, and tall walls of reddish colored rock.
I recall seeing a sign posted at the entrance of a trail; “If you see a Mountain Lion, make noise, stand tall, move your arms and legs around to scare or distract the Lion.”
Do not turn your back on the Lion. Do NOT RUN, as they will chase you!”
My friends and I just laughed. I understand the wisdom of that sign, but the first instinct would be to run or walk away, which would be wrong. I saw a few Mountain Lions there, but rarely, and from a distance. I stayed out of their territory. I didn’t bother them and they didn’t bother me.
Since he supports Trump, he should know better than to go out in public and enrage the true thinking citizens of San Francisco by his presence. He should stay locked in his house and get home delivered pizza or Chinese food. (what the San Fran leftist/communist/socialists think but won’t say out loud.)
I lived on Marion Ave, Old Mill Park was more my territory, as I was still kind of young. I remember it in detail though. On Realtor.com our next door neighbor’s house is up for sale. When I was a kid it was owned by an older lady who was very friendly, I’d go over to chat sometimes. First time I’ve seen inside that house since about 1965. Love the smell of the air there.
Later on I stayed with friends on Gardner St. I remember Varney’s and Sonapa Farms and the theater and the depot and the MV Market.
