Joe Walsh is a goofball, and he REALLY overused that Vocoder, but he made some really good songs and livened up the Eagles. Before he came they were twanging away on banjos

Another great and perhaps underrated song from the same album is “At The Station”. Great vocals throughout, power chords, and tympani (kettle drums) toward the end. My favorite Joe Walsh tune.

The Eagles were a great group, and they all hd good solo careers as well.

Saw Joe Walsh at the Sunrise Musical Theater in Fort Lauderdale about 25 years ago.

He was great. Did an acoustic set and then an electric one.

Excellent writer and performer...

This song brings back memories of working construction during the summer to pay for college. Life was good to me so far.

Joe Walsh is a goofball

Great to see him sober. It was quite a story getting there! But he's still sort of goofy -thank God!

Here is a link to a series of videos how to set up and tune a guitar. I'm not a player so I was fascinated by all that had to be done (set up) and Joe's nature in doing so. Great fun!

i cannot believe it’s been 40 years since the summer that song came out, and I listened to it while working on on the beach after my freshman year of college...

Joe and I were at Kent State together. Tried out for some of the same bands during Freshman Orientation Week. He formed his own band, The Measles. Fun guy!

If you sit down and listen to this song and really think about what’s going on in it, you’ll soon realize that you are listening to a work of musical genius. Yes, I really mean that.
