Yes, and for the most part we would appreciate it if you would leave us be.
I grew up in the good ole days. We could not wear pants all the way from 1-12 and 4 years of college. I remember one day in lower elementary when we did and one day at State when we did wear pants. Both days were very cold and it had snowed. Some of my precious memories. God bless.
I defended the loners who where picked on by the Jocks in my day. I didn't need a club to do it. I raised both my boys to do the same. They're both very big and no one ever tried to retaliate.
Only if they know Christ and have Him in them, otherwise they are just doing it for their own feelings and their assumption about the feelings of others. The kid said he felt left out when he arrived, it seems he’s clearly doing it out of old memory feelings, not because he wants to be Christ to others.
Yes God can use the situations and maybe one or a few students new or current may actually know God and be Christ like thru the exchange, but otherwise it’s just a teenager trying to protect others feelings because his were hurt a decade ago.
What a kind organization. When people discover the joy of being considerate of others, it can change many lives.
Cult Members ?
The absence of a human being.
I love sincere, unforced acts of kindness.
“The joy of being considerate of others can change many lives.” This is a very powerful statement. Not always, but many times a kind act can have a rippling effect.
I fully believe that.
School kids can learn this too, if there are enough people in the family, or in the peer groups setting an example.
I agree. My classmates and I were so mean to this one girl in school that she died a year later. Some went to the funeral and the mom said, “why are you here? You didn’t give a crap about her when she was alive.” So true. Teen years are horrible!!!! These guys are heroes in my book.
I used to say there are three places you want to avoid going to in life: prison, nursing home, or high school.
I agree.
That's very important. Most of us aren't inclined to be heroic unless there's a group participating.
I started a bible club that i think still exists — 1967. i was hated by all the cool kids. President of the class would ridicule me in public. he died of aids long ago.
I had two friends that i kept in contact with but high school was mostly being with a bunch of losers. no education. I used to laugh at the white moth/black moth crap in biology class. i was good at math, the rest was bs. my one friend stole a Stradivarius when he was a student at Boston university. My other friend and i still can’t believe it. but he became a real a$$hole died at 56 of pancreatic cancer. Stealing another persons livelihood can eat you up.

Agree i was tormented by all the cool people. my school bible club and church support was enough. school was filled with mostly dumb people. except my math teachers. they liked their football.
