Honestly, when will the Shareholders cut him loose like they did to Michael Eisner? I’m getting pretty irritated with this. This isn’t even the first time ABC has been complained by shareholders about its overwhelming Liberal bias.
He needs to be cut loose, or at least allowed to run for president so he won’t actually remain CEO of Disney in any case (not to mention lose in an especially humiliating manner against Trump, but that’s beside the point). And hopefully, the shareholders will avert the mistake they made back when they fired Eisner that landed us with Iger.
Didn’t Iger use to work as a weatherman at ABC? Sounds like quite a bit of bias if that’s the case.
Unfortunately the other Divisions of Disney are making huge profits far outpacing ESPN'S losses. Hopefully the movie division takes a hit with the ridiculous Beauty and the Beast gay element.
Correct. The Walt Disney Company makes GIGANTIC profits from their theme parks--especially Disneyland, Disney World, Hong Kong Disney Resort, Shanghai Disney Resort, and massive licensing profits from Tokyo Disney Resort (Tokyo Disney Resort is actually owned by a Japanese company, but they pay huge licensing fees to Disney). And their animated movies are also huge moneymakers, too. As such, they make enough money that Disney could treat ESPN like a "loss leader."
Yeah. Though that being said, taking a major hit to their box office with the 2017 Beauty and the Beast film will probably communicate the message to them.
And besides, Gay Days, if the Florida Family Association is to be believed, is actually COSTING them money at the theme parks, meaning even the theme parks are losing money, at least theme parks that have gay days at that area (I’m doubtful Hong Kong, Shanghai, or Tokyo have them).
By that, I mean the 2017 turns out to be a box office bomb, not that it’s a smash hit. Want to make that clear so people don’t get any misinterpretations of what I was trying to convey.
Watch ABC’s Evening News as presented by their anchor David Muir ... at the top of nearly every newscast you get 5 minutes of Trump bashing. That is approximately 25% of the allotted time given to the average 20-21 minutes of actual news. If you take out the Made In America portion at the end of most evening news segments (or, some other feel good piece)... Trump bashing is 30% of the air time.
Actually, I was referring to this, where apparently Disney had to cram guests into tight spaces just to give the illusion that the theme park was crowded that weekend until they actually entered the park premises:

That doesn’t strike me as being particularly well-attended.
