Plausable deniability. Obamugabe skates.
I remember Dimitri Simes.
He was the very dapper Russian who used to be on TV shows back in the ‘80s. He was anti-Soviet, and would present cogent and precise reasons why we shouldn’t trust the USSR in foreign policy matters.
Even though he had a pretty heavy Russian accent, he was extremely articulate in English, and was very insightful and honest.
I’d forgotten all about him. I wonder what he’s been doing since the fall of the Soviet Union?
Hopefully, the Congressional Committees that will investigate this plot will be aware that the latest Wikileaks Vault 7 revelations also reveal that the intelligence agencies now have the ability to camouflage their own skullduggery and make it appear as though other sources, such as Russia, are passing on our secrets.
Hillary and Obama could have planted false Russian contacts and recorded them so as to frame Donald Trump before the election. They left this in place after the election to “prove” that he was plotting with the Russians to defeat Hillary. The media will scorn any congressmen who will pursue this felony, but it should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. The Democrats must not get away with this blatant subversion.

MSM response......crickets......
Clinton was laying the groundwork for the cover for the surveillance this far back so that they could claim “probable cause” if they got found out spying on Trump.
Calculating evildoers. Lock them up; Drain the Swamp.
Trump can’t let up on this aspect of his campaign promises; (no criticism of Trump intended - I fully trust that he will do this) - Right, his agenda does have the top priority, however, first he will have to have to lock them up (either literally or figuratively) to be able to implement his agenda.
(2009) The firm headed by Hillary Clintons former chief strategist, Mark Penn, is helping run incumbent President Victor Yushchenkos campaign. Meanwhile Paul Manafort, whose firm worked on Republican John McCains losing effort, and Tad Devine, a top strategist on the Democratic presidential campaigns of Al Gore in 2000 and John Kerry in 2004, are consulting for Victor Yanukovych, the pro-Russian frontrunner in the polls. Both Manafort and Devine consulted for Victor Yanukovych.http://www.politico.com/story/2009/11/obama-consultants-land-abroad-029410
Trump adviser Manfort was viciously attacked for being "linked to Russia". Not a peep was said about Sanders adviser Devine. [1][2]
Why is that?

The Russia/Trump narrative seems to have originated with Alexandra Chalupa, a long time Democrat operative and a Ukrainian activist. She worked in the White House Office of Public Liaison during the Clinton administration. She co-founded the Ethnic Council of the Democratic Party. She organized protests against Manafort.
The narrative is heavily promoted on twitter by Andrea Chalupa, a Ukrainian activist and Alexandras daughter. She founded DigitalMaidan, an online movement that made the Ukrainian protests the #1 trending topic on Twitter worldwide
Irena Chalupa, a Ukrainian activist and Alexandras daughter(?) is a fellow at the Atlantic Council. Former Ukrainian president Leonid Kuchmas son-in-law, Victor Pinchuk, sits on the Advisory Board of the Atlantic Council. In 2015 he donated between $100,000 $249,000 to the Atlantic Council.
The claim that Russia breached the DNC email system originates with Crowdstrike, a company founded by Dmitri Alperovitch. Alperovitch is a fellow at the Atlantic Council. Crowdstrike is closely associated with and heavily funded by Clinton colleague Timothy Geithner. Geithner’s company, Warburg Pincus, has provided $100M to Crowdstrike and 30% of Crowdstrike’s board members are from Warburg Pincus. He is a disgruntled Russian emigre.
The DNC refused FBI access to their email system, instead they were made to rely on Alperovitch’s investigation. Alperovitch bases his claim partly on the claims of a Russian blogger. The blogger claims that Ukrainian military units were targeted via malware inserted onto Ukrainian tablet computers, the malware provided to Russia the location of Ukrainian troops. As evidence the blogger cites a 2016 International Institute for Strategic Studies report of a sharp reduction of Ukrainian D-30 howitzers between 2013 and 2015. Ukraine denies any large loss of D-30 howitzers in this period. Alperovitch claims this same malware was used to breach the DNC email system. The malware has been available for years prior to the DNC breach.
Clinton’s “Russia narrative” originates with Russia hating Ukrainians who worked for the Clintons. Claims that “Russia hacked the DNC” are based on the dubious claims of persons funded by Clinton associates.
More?
In October 2016 Andrea Chalupa tweeted In intel circles, the story goes FSB filmed Trump in an orgy while in Russia. Yes, this all ends in a Trump sex tape. This claim eventually surfaced in Buzzfeed’s “dossier” in January, 2017.
Once again, the attacks on Trump originate with Clinton associates.
