Just to be clear, it isn’t that I think what those guys did was right, and it isn’t that I think she is wrong to stick up for herself.
I just think that is not a battle worth fighting. The risk is far, far greater than the reward. If there hadn’t been a recording, who is to say the guy doesn’t go to the police and file charges against her? Then what? He said this, she said that. She could end up with a fine, for what?
I think it is foolhardy, even for a man. Better to get the plate of the vehicle and hope it is a business vehicle and approach it from that direction.
Getting your face pushed in is not worth that.
Or toss a pack of firecrackers in the open window.
Not the least bit humorous. Arrest her and fine her for property damage. She’s the criminal.
If no one catcalled her, she’d be upset. No win.
The issue is that road rage can escalate and spiral far out of control and result in injury, death, or a serious legal issue, far quicker and more unpredictably than many people believe is possible. A middle finger can result in injury or death, because the bottom line is, you don’t know who is in that other vehicle or bicycle. And they don’t know you.
I have been involved in a few road incidents, and I believe they are among the stupidest events in my entire life. In my quest to be a better person, I simply try to avoid them.
Do I see a long white scarf trailing behind her? If it is, that looks like an accident waiting to happen, if it gets caught in her spokes.

If that mirror had needed another foot/pound of force to come off that gal might have fallen over backwards right into the path of that passing car. I’m glad it didn’t!
Well, I don’t want anything to happen to that woman, and I don’t blame her for being angry, but I would rather see her angry than needing facial surgery from the toe of a boot.
I didn’t have sound on, but it looks like they were doing more than catcalling....guy was reaching for her from window.
They were definitely Muzzie trash. We are already seeing this same type of behavior starting up in the States. Hopefully President Trump will be able to reverse the trend.

As a regular motorcycle commuter I get more than my share of attitude from other drivers and probable give more than my share as well. At my age I’ve learned that there is no advantage in having a confrontation with a stranger, so I force myself to not react and respond to the slights. As a result I am still in possession of my limbs and not shot or wrapped around someone’s winged boy-racer carrette.
I'm lucky to still be around. I've had a gun pulled out and pointed in my face a couple times due to road incidents. That tends to make you think about avoiding them. One time a car went straight from a right-turn lane while I was turning right from a second right-turn lane, and it crunched the side of car and it took off. You get angry and chase after it, but it's better to just let insurance handle it. If your car isn't being damaged, even more reason to let an incident pass.
I was on my way to a funeral of a good friend one time, so my state of mind was not on being polite. I had an altercation with another driver where I slammed on my brakes in front of her on a highway crowded with other drivers.
Jesus. What If she had hit me, or caused another driver to lose control?
I was lucky to have the time afterwards to consider that, and realized how lucky I was.
I have done well since then, and that was many years ago, but...not everyone is lucky enough to have a lesson to learn from.
That’s why I got so upset when I saw that video. No good can come from that.

Whatever they were, kudos to that girl, she’s got balls of steel. While it wasn’t the “proper” thing to do, it was a hell of a brave act of defiance.
Being on a motorcycle is even more of an issue...in a car, someone puts on their brakes or bumps you, you get a dent in your car.
On a motorcycle, you get broken bones, road rash, or worse...and the car would probably keep going. I saw one of those russian crazy driver videos, and a guy on a motorcycle was getting aggressive, and...well, you can imagine how it ended for him. Like bringing a knife to a gun fight.
And on a bicycle, forget it. That is crazy.

BTW, I don't buy this "she was wrong as well" line of apologia - it smacks of Dhimmitude. You're dealing with animals here and they only respond to the 2x4 effect. As others have said though, she was lucky those iceholes didn't get a chance to retaliate.

This woman had time to figure the odds and sum up the punishment to deliver. She was covered by a pal with a camera.
She set up this van driver. Good for her. Heck she’s probably a MARINE, to boot and armed.
I don’t buy that either. He was committing assault and battery by the laws in the U.S. Don’t know about the UK, they might have to defer to a Sharia ruling on that. Even a dummy grenade would be a hoot. A stink bomb type would be good too.
She was lucky but she picked her timing well. They were parked and had probably cut the motor. Bicycles are very maneuverable in the city vs a van too.
Good for her.
