I grew up in the UK. Yes, it is 16 (last I knew). It was also common for girls 13/14 to be dating 18yo’s....because you wouldn’t have known, from a maturity aspect (no visuals needed), that they were younger. There is a culture gap here.
Before anyone thinks I’m ok with “adults” having sex with “children” - that is part of the point he was making, 20 vs 18, 18 vs 16, 16 vs 14, etc. - maturity can vary wildly, as does social norms. This line we draw here, where you magically become an “adult” at 18 and were a “child” at 17, is a USA thing. Kids here, right up until they graduate high school, are treated the same as freshmen....like kids, when some of them ARE 18. It’s no wonder so many go off to college and go crazy. My entire family found some of these “norms” very strange, it was also very frustrating for myself and my brother. We went from being “adults” in the minds of people in the UK to “children” in the USA...and being treated that way. Most in the UK feel 16 is adult, many leave school.

No, I’m adamant that James Alefantis Instagram images and comments where he sexualized babies and toddlers was wrong. I also think the pics of his much younger boyfriend french-kissing a dog were wrong. But because he is a friend of Podesta, he got a free ride for what he did. He also got a lot of sympathetic press portrayals. The media is ok with their gays, but not the conservative gays.
As far as a man raping a toddler or a child or God forbid even a baby, or someone doing the same to a 13 year old, it is different in the eyes of the law.
To be clear, that is the distinction that Milo was making.
When he was talking about relationships, he was speaking of his relationship when he was 17 and his boyfriend was 28. So two different subjects that were edited together on on video.
I’m not defending either one. The gay thing just can’t end well. I noticed when he was on TV he crumbles in the face of an alpha male. He’s got some psychological problems. I noticed he did the same thing in the Joe Rogan interview.
But I guess I’m feeling like this is just an attack on conservatives as a whole because the media did give a free ride and positive publicity to James Alefantis when what was on his Instagram was egregious.
But they attack Milo on the bases of two different interviews on two different subjects that were edited to seem to be one.
I can’t get on the “gay is great” bandwagon, because it’s not. But I feel sort of sorry for Milo. He’s being subjected to an attack that the left wouldn’t dare open on their own favorite sissy boy, James Alefantis.

Yes, I’ve watched it. As I’ve watched almost all of his videos. Again, he plays up the flamboyance, it’s hard to know when he’s serious or building his public persona. When he gets serious you know it and there’s no doubt about his position, which includes destroying progressives.
He has stated that he wouldn’t wish being gay on anyone, to the surprise of Boy George (on a panel). He doesn’t believe in gay marriage. He believes transgenders and lesbians are just confused and there’s really no such thing.
That he gets a young audience to LISTEN to issues from a true conservative point of view and see him be very convincing against every progressive talking point is something nobody else seems to be able to do.
I get that his flamboyance and sexual joking turn many conservatives off. I had to see past it before I could see it was a tool to getting serious messages across. I suggest you listen to him on youtube about the Orlando shooting.
We are all flawed. We all have our vices. This MAN has my respect for what he is able to accomplish. Given I have flaws of my own, would I meet your definition of “high moral standing”? Would you be by other FR’s if we knew *everything* about you, including every dark thought?

Milo wouldn’t allow them to Palin him, so the GOPe had to go deeper. They didn’t want him at CPAC, and in truth he was a very strange invite, which makes it all sound like a pure setup to me. Suspect he will still be around driving libtards nuts, just no longer so much of a star.
I suspect that Milo is no pedo - was just being funny and edgy in his own misguided way - but this diminishes any impact he might have had. He didn’t need to go mainstream anyway.
