Trust me, it is FR that is slow as all get out! And it does not escape me that this seems to happen every FReepathon....or during any MAJOR event like debates or inagurations....damned shame that with all the money forked over for the site, that this seems to happen many MANY times each year.
The answer is 42 ... just sayin’.
It loads faster than other sites for me due to small bandwidth - pretty much text-based.

It’s been plenty fast for me, most of the time. Maybe it’s the internet in your part of the country.

But that it occupies 3/4 of your time.....

In the years to come, there might be more delays to sites that you like. In china you can’t get crap, be thankful! The US is being bullied be marxists, fed judges (look at how gay marriage got passed over the states, obama fed judges), college profs., globalists and their trash tools.
Depending on your carrier, there is a chance of bias! The bigger the corporation the more likely the bias.

It’s been slow since the crash before last.
Page takes forever to load and often, half the page is missing.
I think it’s Bush’s fault.
Freerepublic often seems slow to me.
It is hard to be sure of the cause.
Freerepublic is known to be an effective conservative site; maybe there is a tech group that has figured a way to slow it down..../S
