Awesome Im happy for her!!! She deserves it because she showed GUTS..going into liberal looneyland and showing her support for our President was simply amazing God Bless her
“Amazingly, Billboard writes a balanced article with actual reporting.”
That is rare in this day and age.
Joy Villa: We Are the Champions
Went to iTunes early today. I purchased her five song album and five other songs.
Cost me less than $10.00, and helped send a message.
She actually ruined the planned Bash Trump Fest at the Shiny Object Show. She got all the press. For that, I have great admiration for her. What she did took one heck of a lot more guts than I think I have.
Not a bad write up.
But Billboard fell into the trap that has caught just about every other publication and talking head.
They try to define Trump too narrowly.
They attempt to fit him in one of the usual boxes based on the political spectrum - left-center-right.
But conservatives knew he wasn’t a hard core conservative when they voted for him and liberals knew he wasn’t a hard core liberal when they crossed over.
His populist appeal is founded on universal values that appeal to paeople across the spectrum and probably make him the biggest Big Tent candidate/politician that we have ever seen.
Great article by Billboard...indeed, quite, the surprise.
Interesting points about the number of Trump supporters among entertainers who have been muzzled for fear of their careers. I liked the point that conservatism is becoming the new trend. People of all stripes are awakening to the brutal reality of leftist tyranny.
Crowder interviewed Villa on his show recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8Uu3HNlVdo Skip to the 35 minute mark.
This girl could literally sell a billion copies of her song, and it wouldn’t make a mention for song of the year at the Grammys.
I believe Evancho did get a sales bump, just not this big.
Here is a link to Joy Villa’s Amazon page, in case you want to buy or sample some of her music:
Pass it on.
Dear Mainstream Media:
People like Donald Trump.
Quit trying to tell us we don’t.
Both of the women in the pics on this thread have guts of steel. For that young Joy Villa to go into the jaws of hell at the Grammys, wearing that awesome dress, is just so ballsy I can’t even imagine it. God bless her for doing that.
The 5 bucks I spent on her album was worth every penny and more!
On the subject of Trump and music...
This “Never Come Down” video has just under 800,000 hits right now.
Trump is in each frame of the video, but it’s not a super high production value flick. It’s still pretty good, because I support the guy...
It’s two minutes in length.
