His plane passed over the top of an American Airlines 737 carrying 110 passengers and a six-person crew.

Chewie did most of the really tough flying anyway, and got far too little credit.

I agree. Plus he has crashed a plane about 4 years ago.

Didn’t he run out of gas taking off from Santa Monica and crash on the golf course?

On his plane crash, I think there was some mechanical trouble as he took off.

I have a feeling the taxiway and the designated runway are on the same heading..........not to mention that, in the case of the RUNWAY the heading is displayed right on the end of the runway in bold numerals. Not so on the taxiway. Will Ford hang it up before he kills some people?

Years ago, Delta landed a DC-6B at McDill AFB rather than Tampa International.

The next day, the crew of the same flight were discussing the idiots flying that flight the day before.... when they landed at McDill too!

Dear Mr.Ford,

It’s time. Your favorite mechanic isn’t available for repairs. Hire a pilot!!

:)

Agreed, at least for while.

The taxiways at John Wayne are very close to the terminals and/or fuel tanks.

This is considered a serious breech of the FARs, especially since he flew over a passenger plane, which in and of itself should have been a huge clue something is very wrong.
