I’ve always wondered why Robert Heinlein never wrote for television, considering how many classic sci-fi authors have. At least, nothing I remember seeing.
Dr. Asimov was a great writer of science, fact and fiction. In his personal life, he was a leftist of the first magnitude, from what I recall of his autobiography.
A good example of loving the work, but SMH at the person doing it. He lived in an era where he understood that spewing his political beliefs could alienate much of his audience, though, so he seldom popped off. Would that some of the morons in entertainment today would follow his principle.
