United pilot replaced after intercom rant while dressed as civilian

United Airlines replaced a pilot before takeoff on Saturday after she boarded in civilian clothes and told passengers over the intercom that both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton were liars and that she was getting a divorce, witnesses said.

The airline on Sunday declined to identify the pilot or comment beyond a previous statement apologizing to customers, many of whom left the plane out of concern for their safety.

The flight from Austin, Texas, to San Francisco took off with a new pilot about 90 minutes late, passengers said.

"She shows up dressed like a civilian and asked us to take a vote to see whether we should have her change into her uniform or fly as is," passenger Pam O'Neal told KPIX television upon landing in San Francisco.

In post #37 the point was raised that she was not in Military or Police - where changing into civvies is used.

I ‘suggested’ maybe the term should have been changed into mufti

MUFTI
noun, plural muftis. 1. civilian clothes, in contrast with military or other uniforms, or as worn by a person who usually wears a uniform.

Or something like that.....

The plane was fully boarded and doors were already closed. Surprised it got that far before crew stepped in.

It’s hard not to think sexist thoughts or make crude jokes when you read stories like this.

I know I’d be one of the first passengers OFF that plane. There is no way I would fly with anyone — male or female — that acts that weird.

"San Fran east to San Fran west."

Which wackadoodle city is she from? Either one. They're one and the same.

Were I on that plane and did I know the ranter was the prospective pilot, I would not have flown with that pilot at the helm. Someone in an emotional state is not a safe pilot and I would be worrying about pilot suicide, an operation I do not wish to share in. I feel the same way about any Moslem pilot. If the I hear pilot say “inshallah” as he boards, I will exit the aircraft.

From her picture, it’s not very likely the ex is a man. Gaydar is strong on this one.

This can’t be the first time someone has questioned her ability to fly. How could a company afford to keep these mental cases on.

That’s what one gay German pilot did a couple years ago.

She could go Amtrak on them and ram the aircraft straight into the ground and kill them all if the co-pilot went to the bathroom and she locked the door and put it into a dive.

Like that aircraft tragedy in Switzerland.

What we used to call a “career limiting move” on the part of Ms. Pilot.

I'm sure she'll be able to find work in in Southern California's beautiful San Fernando Valley...

So what psych screening tests does United have for their pilots? I hope better than Lufthansa.

More sad than this is what happened to Otto. He was stored in a non climate controlled garage and disintegrated due to his cheap plastic content.

It’s a pretty interesting peek into human psychology. Only one man gets up to leave. A few seem to be voicing some concern. But when offered the chance they don’t move. And according to one of the videos even after all of this when the plane doors are reopened only half the plane gets off. The sheeple is strong here for whatever reason, conditioning, political correctness, who knows. The passengers have to realize this pilot is having some type of breakdown and under the best of circumstances this will in no way be a normal flight for them. And yet they can’t react.
