Picking these CLOWNS for a life long position is a tenuous task at best. ANY of them should be viewed with extreme suspicion, given the actions of Douglas, Souter, Roberts, Kennedy, and other alleged “conservatives “ or strick constructionists. They turn so quickly and unexpectedly.

Gorsuch just demonstrated he is imprudent, arrogant, ungrateful and ignorant of the role of the Courts vis-a-vis the President. He is unpredictable and unreliable and Diane Feinstein’s satisfaction with him is another warning sign.

He should NOT be appointed. He is NOT a Scalia.

We really do NOT know what Gorsuch said or didn't say.

OTOH....I doubt that Trump told him to say this; that's NOT his style, nor did he know what questions would be asked, nor by whom.

Now IF ( big IF ), Gorsuch DID say what is claimed, then I don't trust him at all and suspect that he'd just be yet another damned GOP Justice who is worthless.

>> he attends the church of his father and grandfather and great-grandfather and so on (the Gorsuches have been Episcopalians for many generations). <<

Untrue. Gorsuch was brought up as a Catholic by his mother Ann, and attended an elite all boys Catholic school in Washington D.C. run by the Jesuit order. He became Episcopalian as adult, while at Oxford.

Furthermore, the other Episcopalian church in Boulder, St. Aidan's, supports traditional marriage and emphasizes that fact on its website. If he wanted to, he could EASILY attend a more conservative church in his denomination without inconveniencing his family. He chooses to attend the one with an ultra-liberal "priestess" as his pastor

>> not on the fact that he attends the church <<

Should the fact Obama attended his wife's hate whitey church for decades not influenced my decision to vote against him? It possible that he didn't share Rev. Wright's "God Damn America" views as his supporters claimed, right?

<< You should judge Neil Gorsuch on his record <<

Oh believe me, I've been looking into that as well... looking at rulings where he refers to unborn babies as "nonviable fetuses" and says men who "feel" they are women should be referred to as women. He's issued a few rulings I like but overall he's far closer to Sandra Day O'Connor than Scalia.

I would be very very suspicious of anyone who attends ECUSA “worship” today. I left for good in 1998, and things have gotten much, much worse since then - almost unimaginably worse.

But even more than that - I never met an RC to ECUSA convert who was not a radical liberal. Not one. Not even close.

The only two reasons Catholics join ECUSA are because they are pro-abortion radicals or because they are pro-gay. 100% of the time.

I’m very concerned.

Valid point.

There are a handful of pro-life conservatives still remaining in the ECUSA, but most of them are cradle Episcopalians who refuse to leave for family reasons or whatever.

Converts from RC to ECUSA tend to switch denominations because their own views are very liberal and they find the ECUSA's more "progressive" stances on blessing gay marriages and ordaining women to their liking.

Its possible that Gorsuch joined the ECUSA in college and picked out a ultra-liberal parish with a "womyn" priest and secretly held Jesse Helms style beliefs all this time without anyone knowing about it, but the odds are overwhelmingly against it.

“You should judge Neil Gorsuch on his record, not on the fact that he attends the church of his father and grandfather and great-grandfather and so on (the Gorsuches have been Episcopalians for many generations).”

“leftist church in Boulder, CO with a female “priest” that marches with women dressed as vaginas and has a “partnership” at the church to promote “LGBTQ rights”.”

He should have gone to a different Episcopal Church, not this one.
