She would know. Wasn’t she a clerk or something for an SC Justice once? An SC pick is nothing to take lightly. “Trust but verify”. Too critical to make a mistake here.
If I stayed with my wife based on what people tell me she says about me, I’d be long gone :)

Not “Sid the Squid” but Senator “Squid Blumenthal.” Not a lot of difference though.
Other than Senator Blumenthal, has anyone testified that he actually said that? Has anyone asked Judge Gorsuch? Why do you trust a Democratic senator’s word?
Bingo.
He could be that rare judge who truly can separate his feelings from the law and do what the constitution and written law says unless there’s a conflict in which case it should be sent back to congress to be re-written until it is in line with the constitution.
We, the American people, keep getting badly burned by GOP presidents' SCOTUS picks and I, for one, am sick unto death, with that crap.

I am a senior citizen. Throughout my lifetime, I have seen Republican presidents appoint justice after justice who turned out to be liberal. We need to very carefully look a Gorsuch and make sure he’s a true conservative. He’s young and will be appointed for the rest of his life. We cannot afford to make a mistake.

I believe that, just as happened in the primaries, anyone who utters a word that is slightly negative against Trump, that person becomes a pariah by some radical Trump supporters.
All of that persons’ conservative words and works no longer matter (see Ted Cruz).
Dial it back and regain a bit of sanity. Goresuch is great SCOTUS pick.
Especially now that the SC has morphed into the eminent tribunal that Lincoln warned us about. We have ceased to be our own rulers and have let the judiciary make “our” decisions against our will. All we can do is vote for the Presidential candidate that promises to nominate conservative justices. And keep our fingers crossed.
Hopefully, Gorsuch has learned never to trust Senators, especially Democratic senators.
Huh. There was something about the guy that rubbed me the wrong way. I knew nothing about him but when the president made his choice and presented Gorsuch to the audience I didn’t feel a positive vibe.
It sounds like the question was simply a ‘gotcha’ question.
He sounds like another pro-Sodomite Kennedy.
Is it correct he attends a liberalized Presbyterian Church with a pro-homosexual “woman” pastor?
