Well put. I would add, Cruz really doesn’t have the radical mentality, outside the box thinking that is needed. Had Cruz won the nomination, he would have never gotten out of the love nest scandal stage.

So far this week they have made up stuff about all the Trumps and none of it comes from any source that has a smidgen of reliability.
Nationalism is a loaded term used to make Trump seem like a Nazi. It was originally applied to political movements in ations like Germany, Spain, and Italy where were recently cobbled together from disparate kingdoms into one country where there was no singly unifying national identity inherent to the people thus thrown together. Nationalism blended well with fascism because fascism was about central control of industries, and centralized meant nationwide so it fit but they are not one and the same.
Regardless, calling patriotism "nationalism" in order to discredit it is the game here.
