In the reality show that is this White House, has chief strategist Steve Bannon kicked Jared Kushner off the island? It seems that Kushner might be losing the contest of wills, as the new president embraces nationalist policies and runs into trouble with ill-timed outbursts from himself and his advisers.
President Donald Trumps boldest and most controversial moves appear to come when Kushner and wife Ivanka Trump are observing the Sabbath, which leaves both of them out of contact as observant Jews.
On the Saturday after the inauguration, his father-in-law personally telephoned the National Park Service after it tweeted photos showing a smaller crowd watched his inauguration than had Obamas, delivered a widely-mocked speech at the Central Intelligence Agency and sent his Press Secretary Sean Spicer to lace into the media over its inauguration reporting. On the second White House Shabbat, Trump signed an executive order that banned immigration and tourism from seven Muslim-majority countries, and then fumbled the response to a swirl of criticism.

In addition to coming when Kushner was out of reach by telephone, policies like the Muslim ban also depart from the cautions that Kushner had given the business community and others after the election, promising that his father-in-law would govern as a moderate and that he did not necessarily believe all the things he had said on the campaign trail. And the woes dont only come on Saturday, as last week, when Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto canceled a Kushner-brokered visit to the White House, after a war of words that Trump initiated.
A source told Vanity Fair that the situation had left Kushner furious, and had also taken a personal toll on him, with the young man losing weight and appearing ill in photos.
Meanwhile, Bannon has been on the make, receiving a permanent seat on the presidents National Security Council, centralizing power through an internal White House think tank and putting his fingers on policies like the Muslim ban.
So blood isn’t thicker than water.
It seems to me that this is just the media trying to stir something up, due to anything has happened on Saturdays.
Wow. They really fear Bannon. Funny.
id much rather POTUS listen to Bannon, Kush hasn’t been seen much since...
Never pick a fight with an old guy?
First of all, you misquoted the subject. It should be
Is Jared Kushner Losing White House Power Struggle to Steve Bannon?
You left out the word “Is” turning it from a question into a statement of fact.
Secondly, where did you dig this blogcrap up at?

Big deal. Blogger.
Fake News.
I doubt if any of this is true.
Its very likely the media making crap up because they can.
This seems like more unsubstantiated gossip pushing the new narrative that Bannon rules President Trump. Pfff!!!
Silverback Bannon has much to teach Kushner. There is no power struggle, only lessons and delegation. No worries.
It’s impossible to tell Fake News from Real News anymore. Until further notice I will assume ALL news is FAKE.
It’s not “media” it’s some flippin’ blogger and the subejct line is not accurate.
Fake news.
These people act like Breitbart News put a lyme tick in their underpants.
Yep, the left always tells you who they fear.
screw the MSM Bannon needs to keep POTUS on the right track. don’t worry about the media now, worry about them in three years when it is election time again
Why listen to this garbage? It’s rumors and gossip designed to demean Trump.
Rehash of old story. Likely fake news, but i am fine w Bannon having more influence.
