The first pictures of the female-driven remake called Oceans Eight have just been released.
Having railed for years about sexism, you might think progressive film-buffs are looking forward to the movie which stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway and is due in theatres June 2018.

What, you missed G.I. Jane?
Belinda Hur. They could replace the chariot race with a parallel parking competition.
The female Ghostbusters was an insipid boring suck fest. This will probably be the same.
The remakes have all been bores.
Same with the Olympics.
Maybe if they had cast more young, good looking actresses....
Sandra Bullock - in her 50s.
Cate Blanchett - almost 50
Mindy Kaling (had to look her up - never heard of her but almost 40 and with a low height to width ratio per her pictures)
Anne Hathaway - OK, only mid-30s.
Rihanna - the affirmative action hire is the only one under 30. And the only one that would merit a second glance on the street.
IMO, a box office bomb.
How long before Trump is blamed for the “pay gap”?
“G.I. Jane” was quite worthwhile. True story: There’s Demi Moore going through boot camp, getting punched, getting kicked, getting pushed around, etc. The only time jiggygirl involuntarily gasped in surprise and shock during the whole movie was when the barber started the first pass through Private Moore’s hair with his electric razor.
LOL!
Here comes another flop.
We know what "Men on Film" will say.....
i guess no one learned their lesson from the massive bomb of the all-female “Ghostbusters” reboot.
“The Terminatrix”
Another Hollywood flick that will be on Blu-Ray 4 weeks after release.
I’ll wait the 10 weeks till it’s on the USA network.
Actually i really don’t want to see it at all.....maybe at 2am when nothing else is on.
Big nope on this one. I guess the Hollywoodheads didn’t learn from Ballbusters.
The only good “Ocean’s Eleven” was the first one .. and I wish they would play it more often.
It starred the greats of film, it’s one of those movies I would watch every time.
Last night I watched “War Games” .. and even though I knew the outcome from watching it over and over .. I still like watching it.
“Hello Joshua, shall we play a game?”
LOL
My eyes! Holy f’ck she fell out the ugly tree and hit evry branch on the way Dooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnn.
Maybe they can make an original movie called, “Nagged to Death” so they can quit doing reboots with an all female cast pretending it’s all new. At least you’ll know what you’re getting.
