Movies often depict drug people as simple, but brutal businessmen. They appear cold, but logical; reasonable, even, in the context of their environment. I’m guessing they are really more like the Al Pacino character in “Scarface.” Short tempered, irrational and crazy.

I think it depends on how much of their product they use for themselves. Though, as you say, I think it would be very difficult to remain rational in that line of work under any circumstances.

The cold logical people are the middle man distributors/transport logistic guys who don’t get their hands dirty. The produces and direct sellers tend to be 3ed world scum. If you want a good overview of this process watch Cocaine Cowboys on Netflix.

He was "....convicted of distributing cocaine in 2008...." . Not really surprised that they found out where he was, someone was still paying attention. He must've been holding a large qty (unpaid for) when he was arrested. I wonder if Obama will ever be told this occurred,though I doubt it.
