The media is very bad at estimating crowd size, and their biases cloud their guesses.
Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA sent one or more buses (not sure) and they didn’t get to the inauguration until about 12:30 pm due to all the security constraints.
There would have been FAR more were it not for inclement weather and threats of violence. If Trump were to have had the backbone to have demanded that the inauguration be held in a city like Nashville or Dallas or even Huntsville, Alabama, the crowds would have broken all records forever.
I attended a demonstration, and the media reported the attendance of about 50 people. Before the demonstration started I had walked down the line of people and counted over 150.
If the media agrees with your cause, they will gladly over-estimate the numbers, if they disagree with the cause, they will just as gladly under-estimate the crowd. It’s been that way for decades. Just look at how the manipulated the numbers involved in anti-Viet Nam war demonstrations.

I’m very pleased that the President, VP and their families made it through the day just fine.
For a while, just before the Inauguration, I was sure there would be a Body Count when all the ceremonies and crowd herding was done. Praise be the God, that did not happen.

I’m back to not able to watch Fox again... My suggestion to Fox is to at least read the comments they ask for via FB, Twitter, and anywhere else they get email/comments from we the voters. And get some guests on who sees it the way we do. I know Fox is aware of our sentiments.. Bret mentioned Trump voters were agreeing with Trump ... gung ho for him.
I don’t see where our voices/votes for Donald Trump are being counted/considered when they talk all day trying to destroy our President. At least give the other side!! All I see is attacks from everywhere... He’s different (yea!!) and that makes him wrong in their narrow eyes. I thought the inaugural speech came from a man who was ready to roll up his sleeves and keep his promises to us. They accuse President Trump of saying an untruth ... and ALL day, ALL the time... obama came out and lied to us... not a peep from them about that. Their attacks helped elect Donald Trump to the office...they are forgetting it was the PEOPLE who put the President in that capacity to fix this mess.
