What did ya’ll do while FR was down? Personally I found life to be sorely lacking in good “first person” reporting. Did ya’ll (I’m southern) ever realize that FR is the ONLY one stop place on line to get first person reports from the scene of what’s happening almost any place in the world? Twitter? You can only check out one at a time. Face Book (that’s news)? Main stream media? Uh...we all know how real that is. We missed you Free Republic. Still the best there is. Ya’ll donate now. We need a new thingamajig to power our existence.

What did I do? I binge-watched "Twin Peaks" and "Black Sails," and then I binge-watched Turner Classic Movies. Other than that, I was fine.
