The Wynn Las Vegas has removed all Tom Ford beauty products and eyewear from the resort after comments the designer made about Melania Trump. Ford, 55, said during an appearance on The View in November that he would not be dressing Melania Trump while she was in the White House because his clothes are 'too expensive' for a first lady to wear, noting that in that position she would have to 'relate to everybody.' Donald Trump responded this this by telling Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends that Melania never asked Tom Ford to dress her. 'Never asked Tom Ford, doesn't like Tom Ford, doesn't like his designs,' said Trump. He then went on to say: 'Tom Ford is an example. "I will not dress the First Lady." He was never asked to dress - and Steve Wynn just called me and he said he thought it was so terrible what Tom Ford said, that he threw his clothing out of his Las Vegas hotel. That was later confirmed by a spokesperson for Wynn Las Vegas, who told DailyMail.com in statement: 'Wynn Las Vegas confirms it removed the Tom Ford line of cosmetics and sunglasses from the resort this past weekend.'

Fighting back. Love it.
Payback is a b__tch Tom.
HOORAY Wynn, HOORAY Trump
Win, win
Good for Steve Wynn. I always stay at The Wynn or Encore when in Vegas.

WAY TO GO!!!!
It’s bad enough for entertainment celebs to alienate half their audience but for business/fashion designer people to do so is really dumb. It’s not like the world has only one fashion designer. There is no monopoly in that game. It’s not like before most conservatives when seeing high priced Tom Ford stuff thought anything political was wrapped up in that but they do now.
Wynn Trumps Ford
I’m not tired of Wynning yet.
Wynning....and sometimes “y”
When Wynn opened the Mirage he changed the face of Vegas. Before most places were more on the trashy side save maybe the Desert Inn. The full high end resorts began with the Mirage.
LOL Well played!
These idiots do not realize that conservatives tend to have money and buy things. Target and Macy’s are seeing what happens to profits when they cater to only a fraction of the buying public.
I’ve stayed at the Mirage many, many times when I was exhibiting at CES’s Ultra High End Audio trade show at the Venetian.
The Mirage always provided a classy 10 days each year and just a walk across the street to my suite at the Venetian.
“... he would not be dressing Melania Trump while she was in the White House because his clothes are ‘too expensive’ for a first lady to wear, noting that in that position she would have to ‘relate to everybody.’”
Because the first wookie of the US always got her clothes off the rack at Target.
Politics trumps art and business, apparently.
From both a business and fashion perspective, you'd think they'd be happy to get back to elegant and haute couture from M.Obama's own preferred style of regrettably unforgettable kitsch.
Ford’s fashions are ultra high end like your audio. He cited that as the reason for not dressing Melania, who may need to exhibit a common touch. I wonder if Trump will install a state of the art AV system or just go with Hulu.
