I will be at the Inauguration in DC. I have tickets inside the gated area and can also hang out at the Heritage Foundation if it feels too windy or rainy.
Can’t wait!
I wanted to have an Inauguration party like a Super Bowl party, but the problem is most people I know will be working that day. But I will imbibe in a little champagne and raise a glass in celebration of the Donald taking the oath and say goodbye to the worst president this country has ever had.

Thinking about going to our area Republican Party.
Ordered a Honeybaked Ham with a wheel of Swiss and some honey mustard which WAS delivered today. (Gotta love the net) As a topper, my wife ordered a ton of potato salad and Sauerkraut balls from a local caterer. So with all that coming together Friday morning, my wife and I took the day off to enjoy an event I that I consider an act of God. Everyone ... enjoy what will be an extraordinary day!
We were planning on closing the shop for the day, and just enjoying the televised festivities.
Yesterday we were informed that the installers will be here at 9:00AM to install twelve new windows on our house. I just had to shake my head and laugh.

It’s our day so gluing myself to the couch and watching every lovely minute
If it wasn’t 3,000 miles away, I’d be there in person. My wife is going to make me an apple pie. I don’t get apple pie very often because I am a diabetic, but one small piece shouldn’t mess me up too much. I will watch the event on tv and eat a piece of my apple pie. In the afternoon, I will raise our flag for the first time in nearly 8 years.
I will thank Almighty God for the new beginning.
That night, I will sleep better than I have in 8 long and painful years. It will truly be a “new morning in America”.
There will be fireworks.

Prayers of Thanksgiving will be flowing.
Tens of millions of citizen-voters will be rejoicing Friday. Praying that the tangible favor of God Almighty will come down in buckets to touch Donald Trump with the enormity of the moment.
I’ll be watching it on TV and doing my Happy Dance!
