I may actually be on the road. Very sad. Not sure exactly what time he will be sworn in but I take my special needs son on a long commute each Friday to his school. At least I have satellite radio.
Have kept the Christmas lights up until the inauguration, taking them down Jan. 21.
Wife says the liberals on our street will think I am commemorating the last days of Obama, so I had to explain that the lights stay up as an Trump advent celebration!
Plus, if I can confuse and explode some liberal heads celebrating the way I want to celebrate, well that’s just more winning.
I’ll be putting Old Glory back on my flag pole joining the Texas Lone Star once again. The Lone Star has been there by itself for 8 years now.
Then, watch the ceremonies with a toast to the Donald and his new administration.
Then, I plan on “harassing” about 4 liberals that I know and cannot stand....LOL.
Both husband and I are taking day off to watch whatever they show on tv.
We plan a special Friday dinner in the honor of the new President Trump!
Lemon Piccata Cod, baked potato w/sour cream & butter, broccoli florets in butter sauce and for desert Zabaglione.
Tsarine Champagne with Boursin cheese and crackers to celebrate inauguration while we watch him swear in!
My best regards to those going! What a dream day that will be :)
Sorry, late to the party, here.
Working Friday.
NOT!!!
Haven’t worked a Friday in over 10 years.
Will be getting up early, donning the GOD GUNS TRUMP t-shirt and heading out for all the local coffee shops and diners, just to stir it up and maybe getting tossed out.
Looking forward to it!
We’re having a small party here. With steak and champagne baked potatoes and a toast to the Trumper
Thanks for your kind words and/or fun comments, FRiends! Ta for now!
I will increase my carbon footprint.
Called on November 9, 2016 to cancel my January 20th doctor’s appointment. Would have kept the appointment had it been Hillary taking the oath. Staying glued to the coverage and christening a new gas grill with steak and lobster! Can’t wait until tomorrow!
I’m celebrating by taking a whole hour for lunch to watch the ceremony.
I am here in DC with my husband. Watergate Hotel. He will do the swearing in, and meet me later at the parade. Smooth so far. I HATE THE METRO !!!!
Small, select private party for 5 at home, with red, white, and blue snacks!
Standing with tickets in hand at the orange gate at the Capitol building.
Working and listening to Rush.
Later, watching replays, live feeds and annoying liberals in comment sections.
Put my Trump/Pence sign back outside my front door, hung American flags on my wreath right next to it, and having all the family who can be here watch the coverage all day and into the night. BEST DAY EVER.
