When Lady Gaga hits the Super Bowl stage, at least one subject will be off limits: Politics.
A source close to the halftime show tells ET, "Lady Gaga was told by the NFL that she cannot say anything or bring anything up about the election, or mention Donald Trump."
A rep for the NFL calls this "nonsense from people trying to stir up controversy where there is none."

It’s good she was given direction, these creeps do not understand that there is a time and place for everything and politics and entertainment mixes like oil and water with the audience.
Let her say whatever she wants. Her half-witted rant about Trump will be more amusing than whatever insipid, worn-out song she is going to sing or faux “outrageous” act that she’s going to perform.
Why would she talk? “Shut up and sing. You’ve got ten minutes!”
Hope she does and boos drowns her out.
If they didn’t put it in her contract, she’ll do whatever she wants.
To be fair, she gave one of the best renditions in years, if not decades, of the national anthem at a sports venue, at last year’s Super Bowl. That being said, I will still be doing something else at half time.
Well I always watch halftime shows in the hopes of seeing the celebritiies insult conservarives. The show and the game are secondary to the collasal wisdom and bravery of those who humbly serve in the thankless job of entertainment stardom.
The cucks should not have hired her in the first place.

They TV in my house will be off... not interested in learning more about Gaga and Spirit Cooking.
Seems they may have noticed that their letting players disrespect the anthem and flag is cutting into revenue.
The halftime show is so tightly scripted that they frequently use lip synch singing, so any “speech” she gives would need to be scripted. The cost per second of the superbowl is so high they try for down-to-the-second timing.
If she started talking off-script it could bump into a time slot slated for one of the multi-million-dollar ads.
I’d rather he not talk at all. Just sing.
But I won’t be watching either.
Kill the lights & her microphone.
Play Kate Smith singing "God Bless America" while the event staff hustles GAGa and her retinue off the stage. Remove Stage during Kate's singing. Bring out giant American Flag.
Turn the lights back on at the end of the anthem.
Crowd goes wild with cheering! Problem solved. Gaga will henceforth be known as "The Singer Upstaged by Kate Smith".
That was what I was thinking. Will not be watching.
It's pretty obvious when this is the case, almost always.
... and the Flyers will win the Super Bowl.
I wonder how the Superbowl ratings will be this year, and whether there will be disrespectful nonsense during the national anthem even for that game. My hope: Down 10% or more from last year.
