In other words, did she INTEND to pass-off someone else's writing as her own? Or in a document with many sources, did she miss one.
Probably for the best, she would only be a distraction at this point.
For being smart, it was shocking to see Monica hit with charges of plagiarism, of all things!
It is too simple, easily provable and obvious. It is by your own hand, in your own writing and with your signature.
She never said a word in her own defense, indicating naturally, that she was caught red handed and knew it. Period.
I am a little exasperated. She was articulate, yes, but maybe no common sense?

funny how the media is all in an uproar over plagiarism on a day that they are all bowing down to someone who plagiarized his thesis and his big speech.

I’m glad she withdrew, simply because of the distraction level, but is it true that what you have described was the extent of her “plagiarism”? Unless these were private interviews, perhaps, but otherwise, it doesn’t seem like it should be considered plagiarism.
Oh, great. She really should’ve figured that the libmedia would have unearthed this one. She is smart to turn down the position.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden also was discovered to be guilty of this sort of thing, but he continued as Senator and then V.P..

If this is true, why didn’t her thesis instructor catch it?
It’s not as though she couldn’t take some other Trump Admin job, just not necessarily one involving speechwriting.
Good. Don’t care for her. Don’t think she’s smart enough.
It looks like the real thing from what I’ve studied. Best she does something else. There’s enough “proof” that this could really hang over the administration.
