The female star, who apparently is Diana Ross’s daughter (must take after dad), is half white and got up at the Golden Globes and blabbed on and on about the superior people of color. It gets old. Hey, you’re as white as you are black. Like Obama. You guys are only 25% more black than Eisenhower. Shuddupalready.
We don’t watch ABC with the exception of the Kelly story in the morning for my wife.

Yeah, I know it’s Bill Cosby, but the great thing about The Cosby Show was that it portrayed a successful black family without having to make a big deal out of their skin color.

I’ve noticed it for years. It’s the lighter-skinned or mixed-race blacks that are the worst racists. Colin Kaepernick is “Exhibit A”.
It’s like they feel they have to overcompensate to be a member of ‘the tribe.’

I pretty much now get my entertainment from sources outside of the US, especially watching KDramas. I just cannot stand the crap from Hollywood anymore.
I’ll bet most of the writers for that show happen to be white. As a non-black person of color I work in an environment with well educated white liberals, and it’s amazing what some of these people say about blacks out of earshot. You would think you were listening to klan members. Liberal whites, from my own view, have a very paternalistic and patronizing attitude towards blacks. When I argue with them I always make the point that liberalism makes black lives in this country worse because it stresses dependence over independence. I leave it at that and I let them figure out what I had just said.
They make a big deal about the color by its very name. It’s a show I won’t watch. We’re supposed to be post-racial now yet every damned show that comes out of Hollywood has to have at least one bay, a black person or two (preferably with a white partner), and Asian and that odd white dumbass honky....
I’m done with all that crap. It isn’t real life by any shape or form and it’s nothing but social brainwashing from a bunch of elitists who wouldn’t know real America if it bit them on the ass.

I have never heard of anyone who voted for DJT because he is white. On the contrary a lot of people voted for Bozo because he “looks black”. Now tell me: Who are the racists?
The problem with liberals is that they say conservatives don’t welcome minorities, but then when we do, the liberals immediately declare that minority to be no longer a minority because they are conservative. Therefore it is impossible for a minority to be conservative, according to liberals.
I have never seen the show. However, my father is a hard-core Conservative (and a looong-time member of this site) and he said this episode was brilliant and even-handed. So take that for what it’s worth.
