Search is easy. Just choose one word, the more unusual, the better, and search for that word in titles. Then go through the articles until you get one day before publish date.
ALWAYS works for me. 100%.
Laz first I was chewed out because I searched by keywords and did not find anything. (come to find out FReepers not always plug in keywords like they should) Was told to search by title. Now I do and still don’t find THAT title. Now I’m told to find both? Come on, I’d spend all my time searching. Pick one or the other. If the title is not found then I figure it’s not been posted, this is getting too complicated.
I will try it.
Ok, tried and failed.
There is an article on the front page with the phrase “Golden Showers” in the title.
The search field is in the upper right hand of the FR website.
I changed the default from Keyword to Titles. I entered the single word “golden”, like you suggested.
After hitting return, I got back, “Nothing matches your criteria.”
But golden showers is right there on the stinking front page.
What am I doing wrong. I will try it again with the word, showers.
I tried your method again using the word showers. Zip. Nothing matches your criteria.
I tried selecting keyword instead of titles using the word, showers.
I got an old article titled EPA Showers...
What am I doing wrong?
Maybe Zharvard should offer a post graduate class on how to search on FR. This is frustrating as hell.
