ALERT: Facebook Torture Suspect’s Past Has Just Been Exposed… This Is DARK

It’s going to be interesting to see how CNN’s Don Lemon plays this.

A day after the liberal anchor ignited his own controversy by blaming the kidnap and torture of a mentally disabled white man by a gang of sadistic black thugs on “bad home training,” video has surfaced of one of the suspects brandishing what appears to be a rifle and using extremely crude language in making explicit threats, at least one racially charged.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family came forward with a request that was almost unbelievable.

The newly surfaced video was posted on YouTube Oct. 22, and showed the man, identified by the New York Post as Tasfeye Cooper, 18, pointing the gun several times directly at the camera. At one point, he says, “BOOM, put a bullet in your white skull.”

Check it out here. But be warned, it’s very graphic.

“Free Republic has the worst search feature on the internet. I find it flat out impossible to find already posted articles I end up reposting. That is why I don’t even bother doing a search anymore. It is completely futile. Keyword, subject, title, it doesn’t matter. I can never find the previously posted articles here that I end up reposting.....”

Problem is I get chewed out by other freepers or even mods as the thread gets pulled saying “search still works” when I did search and it came up stating that nothing was found!! So as RummyChick said it was posted under a different title, different site and I picked a different place than others picked and that’s why it’s not showing up.

Key to searching is use one important word in title. In this case...I cant remember title of my thread but you probably wouldnt have seen it. If the word torture is in title it would probably pull up too many threads.

Search is easy. Just choose one word, the more unusual, the better, and search for that word in titles. Then go through the articles until you get one day before publish date.

ALWAYS works for me. 100%.

Laz first I was chewed out because I searched by keywords and did not find anything. (come to find out FReepers not always plug in keywords like they should) Was told to search by title. Now I do and still don’t find THAT title. Now I’m told to find both? Come on, I’d spend all my time searching. Pick one or the other. If the title is not found then I figure it’s not been posted, this is getting too complicated.

Its really easy. Choose one word in the title, search only for that word in titles. I avoid keywords, that is too variant.

Ok, tried and failed.

There is an article on the front page with the phrase “Golden Showers” in the title.

The search field is in the upper right hand of the FR website.

I changed the default from Keyword to Titles. I entered the single word “golden”, like you suggested.

After hitting return, I got back, “Nothing matches your criteria.”

But golden showers is right there on the stinking front page.
What am I doing wrong. I will try it again with the word, showers.

I tried your method again using the word showers. Zip. Nothing matches your criteria.

I tried selecting keyword instead of titles using the word, showers.

I got an old article titled EPA Showers...

What am I doing wrong?

Maybe Zharvard should offer a post graduate class on how to search on FR. This is frustrating as hell.

Note all I have in the box is the word GOLDEN.

Note I have selected TITLES.

Upon doing those two things, I click SEARCH.

Here are the results. One red box to the right shows that the search term converted itself to TITLE:GOLDEN. not to worry, though, because note that the second red box, below, shows the search successful.

Thank you for the lesson.

I typed Golden, hit titles, and it worked exactly as you showed.

Where I went wrong is, it does not give you anything if you hit titles before you type the word golden.

So the software is so process driven, if nobody has taught you to hit titles first before keying in your search term, the search doesnt work, leaving masses of people here wondering what they are doing wrong.

Try it yourself. Type golden then select titles, and you will come up completely empty. How can software be that bad????

Also, i see no instruction saying to type in the search term first before selecting titles or keyword.

Thank you for teaching me how to use it, nut that leaves thousands of Freepers who have no clue the order is crucial to success or failure.

How is it this bug cannot be fixed so reverse order still produces a successful search? That is rhetorical. I know you did not write the software.

Is JimRob aware of this bug in the search that order is critical? Or is he unaware because he only performs the correct order?
