That is unusual. Would Dragnet also qualify?
The 1967-69 shows vs. the 1950’s shows? I’m wondering what other spinoffs occurred years later......

How about that billionaire guy that used to fire everybody? What ever happened to HIM? That was an awesome character.

Yeah! If Urkel could go on to be president, then why not that guy?

Sometimes Ill play an episode when friends come to visit. No one seems to get it but me. But they dont get Hee Haw either. I guess both shows are acquired tastes. Don't worry. They're probably from Barcelona

Dragnet? Interesting, but I'd say no. It's all Jack Webb playing Sgt. Friday, but with different partners. The format stayed exactly the same.
I'd say that Dragnet might be more like the second pass of The X Files, or recently Heroes - just continuing the story where they left off, just years later. Maybe even throw in the second pass at Dallas with Larry Hagmans, Patrick Duffy, and Linda Gray. They even kept the same theme song.

I never saw the show the woman of color was in, and didn't care for the Hawk character in the "Spenser for Hire" show. Miscast, perhaps?
Oh, and you missed Frank Pembleton as person of color. Above average show that couldn't find its footing.
To: Leaning Right
Appears you have to be a network TV sitcom watcher to appreciate the list.
Gag me with that dimwit stuff. Produced for the democrat urban crowd.

Hoss - Dan Blocker - Bonanza
Gilligan - Bob Denver - Gilligan’s Island

I find myself not able to watch everything out there because there are too many sources. So I have noticed that since I have other priorities I watch less. So I often don’t know what shows people are watching or what the show is about. But on top of that I hate it when I follow shows and they got quickly cancelled. I’m to a point of having burned out.

How about that billionaire guy that used to fire everybody? What ever happened to HIM? That was an awesome character. Wait for the upcoming sequel, where the billionaire is replaced by a wacky former Governor who broke up his family by dallying with the maid.
