The Drudge Report, the highly trafficked conservative news website, has been knocked offline for extended periods of time over the course of the last two weeks, succumbing to large distributed denial of service attacks, according to its founder, Matt Drudge.
And it's a mystery who's behind it all.
Drudge wrote on Twitter that a December 30 attack was the "biggest DDoS since [the] site's inception."
A DDoS attack is executed by using hijacked computers or electronic devices to flood a website with redundant requests, aiming to overload the website's hosting server and render it unavailable.

What's nice about that sentiment is that, once some of the misguided dupes of the Left start to wake up and realize that their side is losing, these followers are going to be much more apt to start seeing the world as it truly is, instead of viewing it through the rose-colored glasses that result from the hateful, un-American propaganda of their leaders.
Down deep, the vast majority of people of all races want to be left alone to live their lives, and are quite content to leave others alone to do the same. They are Individuals who want to be judged by the content of their character, they are Patriots who care deeply about their Countrymen and Country, and they instinctively rebel against the divisive, malicious lies that the Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) foment.

I remember Drudge meeting us in DC. He had just had a surge in readership because he broke the Lewinsky story and was so thankful to FR people who sent him links and kept him updated regarding that story and other slimy Clinton news.
Even now, I will read a comment here that will say “someone needs to send this to Drudge”- and that is what we used to do- especially during the Lewinsky scandal and the crazy Bush/Gore election and recount fiasco.
He has always linked to us and is definitely a friend who deserves our support.
