The left's Russia narrative has no legs
American Thinker ^ | 5 Jan, 2016 | Marc Weisman

WikiLeaks released all the DNC, Hillary Clinton and John Podesta emails that were in play during the 2016 presidential election. Julian Assange claims he did not receive any of these emails from Russia, Russia-related individuals, or Russian agents. He received them all from a "private, non-state party." Assange was not provided any similar data regarding Trump and the RNC, so he had none to release. In the last election cycle, let's not forget, he released Sarah Palin's emails, which backs up his claim that he is non-partisan in his promulgation of political leaks.

Whether you view Assange as heroic or treacherous, the veracity of his releases is not contested. Therefore, if these revelations did impact the election results, it is the deplorable actions of Hillary Clinton and DNC that show who is responsible – the message, if you will, not the messenger we ought to blame. This does not advance the narrative of the left, however, who must find a more palatable explanation for the Clinton loss. Hence the Russians.

I think Trump needs to have the FBI investigate the CIA AND the CIA investigate the FBI. That would be fun.

Well the Joooooo’s would be their obvious go to choice but then they would be stigmatizing one of their last remaining base of voters.

Even Matt Taibbi is questioning it, even though he’d like to believe.

The discredited media is doubling down on its attempt to hoodwink the public. If you don’t believe the Obama appointed sycophants who run the intelligence agencies you are a tool of the Russians and unpatriotic. Assange has more credibility than the media, the intelligence “experts” or the politicians. Clapper even lied under oath before Congress.

The Russian Hacked the Election narrative has no cloths.

That is the motif of the media. The elections were not hacked with the exception of great voter fraud in places like Detroit and Philadelphia. That voter fraud was to the benefit of Hillary Clinton. However given the total access the supposedly hacker had to the DNC this looks to me like an internal leak. Probably an angry Bernie Sanders supporter.

Due to the total corruption of the Clinton Foundation that I feel certain that Putin knew, if Hillary Clinton was elected president why in the hell would Putin do anything to support Trump. Putin owned Hillary.

The real question is why have no internal documents been published relative to the Clinton Foundation that were on Hillary's off the books server? The security on that server sucked. Many nation states have all of that information concerning the Clinton Foundation and national secrets.

Putin wanted Hillary to win as she could have been blackmailed by Putin from day one.

I suspect when Putin realized Trump would be the next president he said, "that sucks."

"...it is the deplorable actions of Hillary Clinton and DNC that show who is responsible – the message, if you will, not the messenger we ought to blame."

What's most amazing (and even saddening) to me, is that so many adult people in this country have sacrificed their personal morals and integrity on the altar of liberalism to push the idea that it's the messenger, and not the message, that's to blame for Hillary's loss.

My mother taught me better than that, as a child.

...what happened to Tom Arnold's tape of Trump? Where'd that one go?

I'm betting that loudmouth never had a thing, and was only bluffing to get attention. His career ended when the Roseanne show went off the air.

Either that, or he has a few snippets of Trump making some innocuous statements that wouldn't impress anyone. Dude's a blowhard from the word go.

You know, I thought that was a good post the first couple times I read it, but you’ve now been spamming Free Republic with it for days.

I know your heart is in the right place, but re-posting a comment more than half a dozen times is a bit exessive.

Back when conservatives were concerned about machines defaulting to Democrat or resulted altered by the foreign liberal companies that ran many of the voting machines:

From before the election, by CNN
No, the presidential election can’t be hacked
http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/19/politics/election-day-russia-hacking-explained/

Oh, and if Russia had hacked the election and we had any evidence, they wouldn’t have let Clinton concede, wouldn’t have blamed sexism, Huma Abeden, and fake news BEFORE blaming Russia.

Remember that Michigan audit that found 37% of Detroit precincts with more votes than voters?

National media is not too excited about following up on that story.

That’s the real election hack.

And dollars to doughnuts, it goes on in every election in every large metropolitan area and it has been going on for decades.
