Trump ally Newt Gingrich says his big worry about President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration is that they'll "lose their nerve" – and faced with flak from the left, "give in."
In an interview with ABC News' "This Week," the former Speaker of the House said the new Trump administration will have to take positions the "left will hate."

Apparently Newt hasn’t been paying attention for the past year and a half, along with Adam Schiff.
Shut up, Newt! Is it any wonder that Trump decided not to use this guy. I’m glad he stood by him through the campaign and made Hannity’s program interesting - but he is starting to look like a lil’ ol’ lady.
An alien who snatched Newt’s body? Newt has been an ally and an enemy at carious times since his endorsement of Trump.

I can understand why he would be afraid. Historically almost every politician has lost their nerve once they came under the non-stop barrage from the press.
Trump isn’t a normal politician though, his history so far is that under attack he digs in and doubles down. That is the reason many of us have supported him against other normal Repubs who said the right things, but we didn’t believe they’d actually have the nerve to hold firm.
So far Trump hasn’t disappointed me. Of course he isn’t in office yet, but I’m still pleased with what I see.
