Our ASROC had nuclear capability in the very early 60’s. You think the Chinese won’t send their very best when they can take out a CVN with a nuke?
If naval vessels are firing nukes at each other then there are way bigger problems in the world than that. Our cities are probably burning craters.
I am very familiar with ASROC nuclear depth charges. It takes a Presidential order just to load one into the launcher.
