Cage better be concerned about a paycheck at this stage of his career

Fine, turn it down if you don’t want it.

Got news for ya, Nick...
Your career has nowhere to go but up.
To: Sybeck1
Oh, don’t worry little Nicholas, they will find a way to put him in a poor light.

I like Nick Cage, but I can’t see how his “career” can be further damaged. He hasn’t had a hit in years. Besides, a movie about Reagan isn’t exactly going to be a blockbuster.

That remark will cost him IMHO. He could always sell another castle.

That may have been true in 2008, but a new day is dawning.

IOW, he’s worried about being ostracized by his peers...
Can’t decide whats worse, Hollywood insiders or DC insiders.

Well, that statement has done his “career” no great service.
Actors...pretending that they can actually think the stuff that’s written for them. (Not a universal truth, but pretty much ironclad for those lib ones.)
To: rickmichaels
Cage is not a good actor.
His movies suck.

Can any ideological “progressive” ever just be concerned about portraying an American historical figure accurately and without politically-correct censorship/bias????
To: rickmichaels
What is left of movie career has been on life support for at least 10 years.

I
like Cage ... he plays mediocre roles very well.
I don't know if that's his choosing, a realistic look in the mirror or the way his agent selects FOR him.... but some of his movies have interesting plots.
