"They have rights, they can't just be disposed of at any time," Interesting. Does this Futurist believe the same about the unborn?

What makes the British futurist think that the dead wish to return to this place?

They do this hoping future technology can deal with unthawing them and fixing the damage done by freezing.

What bull.
And if true, I hope it turns into “The Monkey’s Paw.”

Can you imagine, say somebody from 1865 suddenly being revived today? No friends. No family. No understanding of the most basic things we all take for granted? I’ll try to enjoy life while I’m here, thank you. When I’m gone don’t bring me back to an alien world with no loved ones. That would be worse than death.

Har! Hope someone gets my last scenario.
Interestingly, I came up with a concept/screenplay built around the Abba song, "Eagles" back in 1979. Listen to the song and you'll get the following.
My concept of "DreamFlight" could not be realized due to limitations of special effects and NO CGI, so I filed it away.
1. The lead character was a lonely reporter woman, when women weren't the lead characters, even before Aliens;
2. She accidently discovers a new race of humanoid beings from the sightings of reports of a winged creature over eastern Oregon. They were a co-race of humans that developed separately (think Lady in the Water);
3. As she grows to accept them and live amongst them in their caverns, she starts to turn into one of them (think Dances With Wolves) from their ancient mystical powers;
4. The military were not the antagonists nor were the scientists, as is the rave of all recent virus/zombie movies. The ending conflict arised from the town peoples fear of a benign race who could fly. The last scene ends with a darkening horizon...use your imagination.
