Have you actually been to India? It really is its own (sub) continent with everything from snowy mountains to jungle, desert to vast green agricultural fields, cardboard box housing along a Mumbai railway to incredibly luxurious hotels and estates. It’s a frustratingly illogical and chaotic place, but you don’t see people starving and most of the population is employed doing something. The worst poverty I’ve ever seen was in this hemisphere, in Haiti.
I agree...my wife is from Chennai... ive been all over india...you definitely see major poverty but also extreme wealth...
