Scr*w Inaugural Entertainment, That's not why we Hired you, DJT! (Bring Tony Robbins)

Mr. President, we can get cheap Hollywierd entertainment in more places than we wish already.

How about, instead of Music acts, bring Tony Robbins in for a 15-min Investment tip/how-to? We recognize you're going to set the economic field for the Middle Class to come roaring back to life, can we celebrate that?

I don’t suppose I’d want to hear that ;-) But I like the military bands doing patriotic and American traditional/folk music.

Are you attending the party? If you would rather listen to a speech there’s plenty on YouTube. I think president Trump and his supporters deserve to celebrate.

The best entertainment for me would be Trump reversing 0’s Executive Orders. I could loop the YouTube movie.

Steve Earle is a brilliant writer and performer, and he’s also a total nut. I’d be very amused if he appeared at the Trump inauguration. It would be mixed-messaging out the wazoo.

I agree!! But include wonderful Orthodox and Catholic choirs in the mix!!!!

PHOOEY to the Hollywood/Broadway, etc. entertainers! They will be missing the event of their lifetimes, all out of spite and/or fear!!!!

Screw the entertainers...why compete in the left’s ballpark? Let the left have their runner up concert. Trump should give a huge speech instead...rig the entire mall with speakers and see how many show up.

It was seriously one of the most bizarre passive aggressive vanities I’ve ever seen.

Hell the left robbed us of weeks of peace because of their tantrums, lets just give up on the inauguration too and put it on Trump?

This site has some strange ones.

I think President Trump and his supporters deserve to celebrate.

Yes,I'm inclined to agree. However, showbiz seems to disagree, which would make a "traditional" celebration difficult.Add to that the damage Obola & Pals have done and you could argue that something quiet should happen and then President Trump is seen in the Oval Office at 0700 on 1/21 meeting with advisers.

An inaugural that consists of Gregorian chants and choir music.

Maybe Benny Hinn can do the backup?

The way political points are scored, these days due to social media is: the Left decides on an attack point. It puts the players on the board and reverbs the attack through twitter, etc. That’s their ‘serve’.

We watch for these volleys (the artists demanding Ivanka pull down their work, and this ‘no musical acts will play’) and someone in the backfield smacks it back while the Left rotates their Spikers up to the net.

If we don’t get our Spikers up first to kill the ball and win the point, then they do and MSNBC/CNN/ABC picks it up and now it’s news against DJT.

The Left winning their ‘no musical takers’ point is one I don’t want to accede, we need to spike this hard and take the point. It’s going to be this way for years, we may as well win every one.

There’s actually only one song that I know by him: “Guitar Town”. Haven’t heard it in years, but I really liked it then.

Going back in History here is the Washington Post’s take on the first Reagan inauguration gala.

How about the Gaither Homecoming crew, whatever is left of them. Many of the familiar faces are no longer with us. But they are, not only great country/southern gospel singers, but solid patriots.

Check out this terrific performance of God Bless America by the late great Vestal Goodman. Doesn’t get much better than this, folks. Turn up the volume!

Kid Rock actually does have some decent songs.

There has to be more entertainers out there willing the stand up to the bullies on the left.

I personally don't need to be entertained. This election season has been the most entertaining year+ of my life.

How about a completely CLASSICAL musical program. One concert, televised, from the Kennedy Center, American composers.

Exactly. If we let them take the Ivanka Artists point, and the Inaug Music point, then we cede them the ‘Arts and Music Community Scorn Trump’ narrative, and they run with it.

I’m enjoying this winning and intend to fight every pixel the Left has to throw at us.

They do need to celebrate, but they can probably find some lesser known and non political talent if they can’t get big names. I wouldn’t trust some leftie musicians to not derail the party. I’ve seen some great musicians at train stations, wouldn’t that drive the libs nuts!
