Hard work can be its own reward!
Has anyone explained why a bucket containing 86 pounds of gold flakes was left unattended in the back of an unlocked and open armored truck?
Just doing the job lazy US citizens won’t do!
They were delivering it to the end of the rainbow.
Stealing the buckets of Gold that Americans refuse to steal?
He did it out of love?
I can’t imagine anyone is crazy enough to approach one of those trucks. A couple of weeks ago one pulled up next to us at the light. I pointed out the places where they can shoot at you outside the vehicle.
And then of course, I saw one get stolen by a crane with a magnetic attachment ..... <:/
Of course, they didn’t want the money; just the plates.
All this time I thought it was a leprechaun.......
Yep at 5 foot 5 he may well be a leprechaun.
How could a bucket of gold be stolen in New York when it was in Los Angeles?
Guards were on union break?
Years ago, when traveling in SE Asia, I bought a few very gaudy, fake Rolex watches - gold, diamonds, the works. I think I paid $10 each. They worked about one day before breaking.
My apartment got burgled and besides the TV, the perps made off with my fake watches. They probably thought they were set for life.
But is he a WHITE Hispanic?
The man is probably of Mayan descent . They are a small people and they are clever.
He better hope the cops get him before the leprechauns.
“The man is probably of Mayan descent...”
He’s just reclaiming the gold that was stolen from his ancestors :)
Inside job?

Well the Mayans are Mexican leprechauns.... just with heart ripping human sacrifice... vs the Irish leprechauns that just like to get you liquored up

Getting ready access to an 86-pound bucket of gold is one thing — the unattended armored car is quite suspicious.
But I also don’t understand how you make your getaway with an 86-pound bucket of gold. Was he conveniently parked nearby? Did he enter a building? Did he walk a few blocks with his bucket of gold?
It all seems very odd.

No joke. About 25 years ago, fake Rolex's were common and they looked real. Same size, shape and gold colored metal.
Also about 25 years ago, Rolex watch mugging was common and victims were killed.
That alone was enough for me not to get a fake Rolex to fool anyone.
