Few jump off Michigan’s Big-Mac Bridge. I guess it too cold for the Ann Arbor snowflakes?
I hope people realize that suicide is not hilarious. But for all the grief and illegal activity by the RATS, this was for our own mocking purposes, not to encourage suicide.
But, of course, if DU fools show up here, they will post a thread that heartless, right wing radical, fascist, nazi, racist, misogynist, Muzziephobic DFU is encouraging suicide.
I had to look as I don’t recall too many bridge suicides in Seattle. Although they have the Aurora Ave. Bridge listed third, it has 400 something over it’s life, while others (China, etc.) have thousand plus.
Anyway, a good list for the holidays I suppose. /s
For some of those suffering serious depression, help has come just in time to save them.
NOTE TO THOSE ON THE POLITICAL LEFT — your candidate losing is not a reason to kill yourself. Man up and get on with your life as we have when our side has lost.
The article didn’t bother me. It was the posts below it that got my attention. You have to wonder if any of them actually followed through.
We’ve had three families in the small church I attend impacted by suicide over the last year or so. It is such devastating thing for any family to get over.
I agree. A Christmas card with a handwritten note and a recent photo inside brightens the day for a lot of people, especially the sick and the elderly. No e-mail cards from me, ever.

To all who feel lost.. you matter. If you think of suicide. Do me one favor. Call 5 people. Ask them what they would say at your funeral. Ask them to recite to you their favorite memory regarding you. Write it down. Recite it to yourself. REMEMBER how many people’s lives are better because YOU are in it.
Suicide isnt a solution its the end to a temporary problem.

I actually did have a cousin who committed suicide by jumping off a bridge. We’re not sure which one.
That one I posted in Pittsburgh is well-known to police though. They are constantly answering “jumper” calls on that one.

After Trump’s final election today, I think these bridges will be used a lot more.

While I joked about it, I can never understand how someone’s life can be that shattered that they take it.
A Golden gate survivor wrote a book and speaks to kids about the stupidity of suicide.
I’ve only known one person who suicide and had lost contact with him years before.
It’s very sad, not only for them, but more so for the families. That toll must be tremendous.
It is particularly sad for family members regretting and feeling guilty for not recognizing the problem or being able to help.
It really is such a horrible thing. I don’t know how the families handle it.
I am also considering selling cyanide pills on my ebay account.
Yeah, it's wrong and sinful to even think like this but, I am really sick of these idiots destroying my country.

A couple of weeks ago, a schoolmate who was a few grades ahead of me, received a phone call from her son stating that he was at his lake house about to kill himself.
Naturally, she rushed to the lake house, only to find that she was too late. I can’t even begin to imagine her agony.
To make things even worse, her Mother died a couple of days later. What a horrible tragedy.

The Skyway bridge is a favorite spot. Some who jump from over 200 ft survive unscathed. Some not so much, and they wish they were dead.
