"Illegal aliens" is now deemed non-PC, insulting, plus (important part) it immediately gives away your political position.
My suggestion is to use "foreign nationals" instead.
1. Foreign. We know what that is. Another country instead of 'alien' - another world. It's not quite as pejorative in tone and there's no stigma attached to it yet by the left.
2. Nationals. They are from another country and owe their allegiance to other nations as they aren't Americans.
In use: "President Trump has called for an audit of the California election. Democrats have suggested the election results were tainted and Trump wants to determine if any foreign nationals voted in our presidential elections and, if so, how many."
"A group of foreign nationals protested that they should be given in-state tuition."
"The mainstream media has kept the number of foreign nationals living among us at 11 million for the last twenty years."
I think it works and always good to engage in linguistic warfare.
I mean, who invited the phrase 'fake news'?
Tell it as it is; no euphemisms necessary.
I prefer “Criminal Invader”
Illegal Foreign National is too long...
Why the hell do you want to cave to the PC mafia??
PC died on Nov 8th.
Or did you miss that?
I prefer reality: criminal illegal alien invader.
Won’t make any difference, they’ll oppose you and anyone conservative no matter how you phrase it.
But, just to tweak their stupidity, use “foreign nationals,” and add a parenthetical: “foreign nationals (might be Russians for all we know).”
Illegal Alien.
Just as long as illegal is part of title.
The former are invited guests worthy of respect and hospitality. The later are sneaks, stowaways and interlopers worthy of nothing more than a speedy return home.
I like “border jumping wetbacks.”
They may indeed be “foreign nationals” but the point is they are here illegally, which must not be ignored.
There could be foreign nationals legally in the US on work visas.
NOT the same.
Trespassing Foreign Nationals.
The Left wants us to modify the terminology. If the terminology doesn’t address it, there is less need to fix it.
The term “illegal aliens” doesn’t offend them. It just makes it harder for them to sweep it under the rug.
I think it is very important to use the most offensive terminology possible. Call it exactly what it is.
It’s an Illegal Alien Invasion and occupation of U.S. soil. They are reclaiming it for Mexico. I don’t think we downplay that one bit.
We need to focus on it, and call people’s attention to it.
I prefer -— Invader.
No we can’t because they would still be ‘illegal’ foreign nationals.
I think you did us a service by asking this question, so don’t think I’m down on you for raising the subject.
We need to review once in a while, so we understand the underlying issues on things like this.
