John and Ken read from an L.A. Times article that raises the alarm a bit too late for Californians.

➤ Californians are likely to pay more for gasoline, electricity, food and new homes — and to feel their lives jolted in myriad other ways — because their state broadly expanded its war on climate change this summer. The ambitious new goals will require complex regulations on an unprecedented scale, but were approved in Sacramento without a study of possible economic repercussions. Some of the nation’s top energy, housing and business experts say the effort may not only raise the cost of staples, but also slow the pace of job and income growth for millions of California families.(http://tinyurl.com/hcdoruc)

Not that most them care about the business climate anyways. The attrition has been happening for many years (https://vimeo.com/33972860), and California is chasing alternative energy companies out of the state as well (https://vimeo.com/16060709). An earlier discussion mentioned these new regulations hurting the economy of California (https://vimeo.com/182194797), but this article is just another nail in the coffin. (Not to mention the many other factors killing California… like the teachers unions [https://vimeo.com/33764962] and the pension promised benefits to the state’s other unions [https://vimeo.com/17005002 || https://vimeo.com/15430809])

Wisconsin is the biggest dairy state, right? Nope! It’s Calif, and not even close.

So Calif makes it EASY on dairy farmers, right? Nope, again:

Calif just required all dairies in the state to buy million dollar ANTI COW FART machines.

You think that’s a joke, right? But it’s NOT.

They cost on average about a million bucks each and they’re to mitigate against the gases that cows release, which supposedly melt the polar ice caps.

At least we can still enjoy the free-wheeling beach culture you saw on Bay Watch, right?

In fact to throw a frisbee or football outside of a special area of any public beach in Los Angeles County gets you a fine NOT of $100, but of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Yeah, google it.

Governor Jerry Brown was at the
Hotel Del Coronado today pushing His
Climate Change garbage.
California is now paying 10 cents a piece for “green” reusable plastic Bags!

Suck one Cali!

As long as the state collects the billions from the coastal tech companies and the little people stay on the east side of the Coastal Mountain Range the elites are just fine. They are rich enough to insulate themselves from the policies they love.

As a life-long Californian, I hope the RATS succeed in crashing this state. Because that’s when the decent people here will take over and rebuild it.

You pretty much nailed it. I would say though that
agriculture is the heart and soul of California and
the Rats will never pull their thumbs out of the
ag eye.

I say that California is the most corrupt state of all. I
can’t even cite specific examples why. But logic tells me
that a party that controls all aspects of government and
has the media completely in their pocket will push the
limits of ethics and legality and then some. This would
be just as true if the GOP was that powerful.

Won’t it be cheaper to strap a lib to the back of each cow with a box of matches?
