Well said, if you have 149 combat missions,
but you gain some power over me,
and you vote to enslave me,
well then, FU.
Stupid patriotism is like Stockholm syndrome.
It is a weakness, that once the enemy identifies your hero, your enemy will appoint your hero to have some power over you. Then you cannot condemn your abuser.
Healthy people condemn their abuser. Period.
